Annick Janin joined GARDP as Head of Clinical Affairs in November 2018.
Dr Annick Janin trained as a medical doctor and clinical pharmacologist at the University of Lyon, France. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Clinical Research Physician in a clinical phase I unit at Sanofi Aventis, from where she joined Nicox as a Clinical Research Manager.
In 2001, Annick joined Galderma as Senior Clinical Scientist and served as Development Project Leader for several dermatology indications, a position she held for 10 years before joining Novartis as Senior Clinical Pharmacologist. In 2016, she was appointed Medical Director, Clinical Pharmacology at Debiopharm where she was responsible for the clinical pharmacology aspects of a new antibiotic clinical programme.
Annick has broad experience in drug development and clinical trials, more specifically in early development and clinical pharmacology. She also brings substantial experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
