Caleb Starrenburg joined GARDP in July 2019 as Senior Communications Manager. Caleb has 15 years’ experience in journalism and communications for the development and public health sectors. Caleb joins GARDP from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, where he was responsible for the communications strategy to inform and train staff, partners and implementing countries on the organization’s funding processes. His previous roles include managing communications across World Vision International’s offices in Geneva, New York and Brussels, as they advocated for the rights of children to be recognized in the Sustainable Development Goals. While at the International Osteoporosis Foundation, he built the communications capacity of national musculoskeletal health societies. Caleb began his career in New Zealand working in newsrooms and as a freelance journalist, as well as managing media engagement for public sector organizations.
