Damien joined GARDP in September 2019 as an External Affairs Senior Officer. He is passionate about leveraging the power of partnerships for global public goods.
Damien has more than seven years of work experience in the public and private sectors. Previously, he worked for UNICEF offices in Geneva and Beijing, consecutively in the Private Sector Engagement and the Public Partnerships teams, where he helped shape the resource mobilization strategies with multi-stakeholder platforms and governments.
Before UNICEF, Damien worked for the late former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the Africa Progress Panel, then within the Kofi Annan Foundation in Geneva, where he engaged in research, advocacy and fundraising. He developed content for the Panel’s flagship reports and policy briefs in addition to the messaging that supported the overall communications strategy to reach new markets.
Damien holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tamkang University, Taiwan and a Master’s in International Affairs from The Graduate Institute, Geneva. He speaks French, English, and Mandarin fluently.
