GARDP is committed to the highest possible standards of openness, transparency, honesty and accountability. To that end, we have developed a set of core policies and made them accessible on our website.
We also have a third-party platform, Integrity Line, that can be used to report anonymously misconduct by GARDP staff or anyone outside the organization in connection with GARDP activities.
This policy describes GARDP’s commitment to share for secondary research use anonymized participant level data obtained during GARDP-sponsored human subject research in a standardized way, while also protecting individuals’ privacy and complying with all relevant data protection legislations, as well as donors and scientific journal requirements. The purpose of the Conflict of interest Policy is to contribute to stakeholders’ trust in GARDP’s operations and support integrity in decision-making.
GARDP wishes to set standards of behaviour that all GARDP Staff are required to adhere to, with the understanding that we wish to foster a diverse, inclusive and tolerant workplace, and to provide assistance to those who need help.
GARDP’s procurement policy combines strict principles with pragmatic approaches in selecting the appropriate vendors, especially when the choice of qualified suppliers is limited.
This Data Protection Policy defines the objectives set by GARDP for the protection of individuals whose personal data is collected or received by GARDP, stored, and used internally, or otherwise transferred externally, and the good practices that must be applied within GARDP to ensure the protection of the rights and freedoms of these individuals (data subjects).

GARDP’s Integrity Line is an online third-party platform that can be used for the anonymous reporting of misconduct by GARDP staff or anyone outside the organization in connection with GARDP activities.

Operated by independent service provider EQS, the digital GARDP Integrity Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in four languages. It offers a safe channel for staff, patients, partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report allegations of misconduct or to ask questions regarding ethics and standards of behaviour in connection with GARDP staff, partners, or projects. Those using the Integrity Line can choose to report anonymously, as EQS guarantees the anonymity of the complainant, through its secure servers.
A report received by the EQS server is sent to case managers at GARDP, who respond to the report and, if necessary, launch an investigation. The person who has filed the report will receive a response within 10 working days, and may communicate with the case manager via a secure, individual, password-protected message inbox on the EQS server. The complainant also has the choice to report allegations via GARDP’s email addresses compliance@gardp.org, Safeguarding@gardp.org or Harassment@gardp.org included in the GARDP policies.
The GARDP Integrity Line is one of the reporting channels supporting the whistleblowing process in GARDP’s Code of Ethics, our Abuse of Power Harassment and Safeguarding Policy, and other GARDP policies and guidelines that require a mechanism for receiving complaints.
The Integrity Line is not an emergency service and should not be used to report events presenting an immediate threat to safety or property. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.
