Jeff Rowland joined GARDP in 2023 as Director of External Relations, overseeing relations with public and private funders. With more than 20 years of experience in catalyzing positive change in global health and development, Jeff previously worked as a senior strategic advisor at Ignite Philanthropy, advising funders on effective interventions to prevent child abuse. At Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, he served as Director of Global Operational Partnerships, fostering innovative financing collaborations between private and public donors that improved access to vaccines and provided more flexible and predictable funding. Jeff also launched the first private sector fundraising operation at the UN World Food Programme and worked as a reporter for The Washington Post. He holds a master’s degree in international affairs and economics from Johns Hopkins University.
