The Financial Times interviewed GARDP’s François Franceschi about the importance of diagnostic tests to fight antibiotic resistance. Improving diagnostics for sepsis would “enable doctors to prescribe the right antibiotic rather than using ‘broad-spectrum’ drugs that target a wide range of bacteria.”
