Superbug “pandemic” stalks India as antibiotic resistance jumps 10 percent in a year

A report by the Indian Council of medical Research found that resistance to common antibiotics in India has jumped by 10% in one year. Kamini Walia led the report for the Indian Council of Medical Research.  

The Telegraph interviewed Walia, who is a member of GARDP’s Scientific Advisory Committee, and Ramanan Laxminarayan, Chair of the Board of GARDP, about the report.
